Win "Near Me."
Beat the Big Brands.
Own Your Service Area.

National companies have bigger budgets. You have something better: you're actually here. Our local SEO services are how Google finds that out. We used it to put AW Broadband at #1 for "Amarillo internet service" over national providers, and they've held it for three years.

The Problem

The Hail Hits. The Search Starts. Who Gets the Roof?

Out here, everybody knows the drill. The storm rolls through, and before the ice melts off the driveway, half the neighborhood is on their phone typing "roof repair near me." Google answers in under a second with a map and a short list. The roofer on that list books out for two months. The roofer who isn't never knows the search happened.

That is local search in one story. The customer has full intent, cash ready, and a decision window measured in minutes. Local SEO decides whose name they see. Every trade has its hailstorm: the burst pipe, the dead AC in July, the cracked windshield. The searches are happening in your service area today. The only question is whose number comes up.

How the Pieces Fit

Local SEO, Regular SEO, and Your Google Profile.
Who Does What.

The terms get used interchangeably, but they're different jobs. SEO is the whole discipline of ranking on Google. Local SEO is the part that establishes where you are and who you serve, so you win searches with local intent, the "near me" and "in Amarillo" searches. Google Business Profile optimization manages the map listing itself. Local SEO builds everything around that listing: pages on your site for each service area, consistent name-address-phone data across the web, and links from sources in your community.

They work as a system. Your profile gets you into the map. Your local SEO is why Google trusts you enough to keep you there. Profile work lives on our Google Business Optimization page.

What's Included

The Local Signals We Build.

01 — PAGES

Location & Service-Area Pages

A page for every area you serve and every service you offer there, written for the searches people in that area actually make. Not doorway pages with the city name swapped out. Google penalizes those, and customers can smell them. Pages that answer the local question are why AW Broadband outranks companies a thousand times their size.

  • City pages
  • Service pages
  • Real content
02 — CITATIONS

Citations & NAP Consistency

Your name, address, and phone number live in dozens of places online, and Google cross-checks all of them. One old address in a forgotten directory plants doubt. We audit where your business data lives, fix what's wrong, and build listings in the directories that matter for your industry.

  • Directories
  • Data cleanup
  • Consistency
03 — LINKS

Local Links & Community Signals

A link from your chamber of commerce, the local paper, or the league you sponsor tells Google something a national link never can: this business is part of this place. We find and build the local links your competitors haven't bothered with.

  • Local press
  • Sponsorships
  • Associations
04 — PROFILE

Google Business Profile Integration

The map listing and the local signals feed each other, so we run them as one program. Full profile management is its own discipline with its own page.

How a Local ISP Outranked the Nationals for Three Years.

AW Broadband competes for "Amarillo internet service" against providers with national ad budgets. Here is why they win anyway: the nationals optimize one template across ten thousand cities. We built AW Broadband's presence for one place, with real pages for the specific communities they serve, local data Google could verify everywhere it looked, and a profile that behaves like the business it represents. Three years at #1 says it's working as designed. In the first half of 2026, that position delivered 19,000 new website users and 3,649 phone calls.

Jasper Plumbing proves it travels across trades: 33.8% organic traffic growth year over year and 275 calls from Google in five months, built with the same local playbook.

Process

Same Five Steps,
Aimed at Your Map.

Every local engagement runs Audit, Strategy, Build, Report, Compound. The local audit maps your rankings across a grid of points in your service area, checks every place your business data appears, and pulls what AI engines currently say when someone asks for a recommendation in your market. You see your real footprint before we touch anything. The full process lives on our services page.

Common Questions

Questions, Answered.

What's the difference between local SEO and regular SEO?

Regular SEO targets rankings for any searcher anywhere. Local SEO targets searches with local intent, like "plumber near me" or "internet service in Amarillo," where Google factors in the searcher's location and shows the map pack. If your customers come from a defined area, local SEO is where your budget works hardest.

How much does local SEO cost?

Our local SEO programs start at $550 per month and range up to $5,000 per month, depending on how competitive your market is and the size of the population you need to reach. Google Business Profile management is included. National campaigns are quoted individually. The free audit tells you which end of the range fits before you commit to anything.

How long before local SEO produces results?

Map pack and profile improvements can move in weeks. Organic local rankings typically take three to six months to show meaningful movement, then compound. We set the expectation by channel at the start, and if your timeline needs calls sooner, we'll tell you to run PPC alongside it.

I already show up when I search for my business. Am I covered?

Searching your own name proves nothing. You rank for your name; everyone does. The searches that grow a business are the ones from people who don't know you exist yet: the service searches, the "near me" searches. The audit shows you where you rank for those, from points across your whole service area rather than from your own desk.

We serve multiple cities. Does local SEO work for that?

Yes, and it's where the location-page strategy earns its keep. Each city you serve gets real, useful content, not a template with the city name swapped. We run this for our own five markets, so you're getting the playbook we trust with our own name.

Do "near me" searches show up in AI answers too?

Increasingly, yes. When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for a recommendation in their city, the AI pulls from the same local signals: your site's service-area content, your reviews, your presence in trusted local sources. Strong local SEO is the foundation AI citations get built on. Measuring those citations is its own discipline, and it's what our AI Search Optimization practice does.
