Accessibility Statement

Last updated July 27, 2026

Last updated: July 27, 2026

1. Our commitment

11 Marketing + Design builds websites, including websites designed specifically for accessibility. We hold our own site to the standard we sell to clients.

This statement explains where this website stands, what we have done, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when we have missed something.

2. Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. There are three levels: A, AA, and AAA.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means some content does not fully meet the standard. Known exceptions are listed in Section 5.

We say partially rather than fully on purpose. Full conformance is a claim very few websites can honestly make, and we would rather name the gaps than pretend they do not exist.

3. What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading order on every page
  • Text alternatives for images that carry meaning, and empty alt attributes for images that are decorative
  • Color contrast tested against WCAG AA thresholds for both normal and large text
  • Keyboard access to every interactive element, with a visible focus indicator
  • Form fields with associated labels, and error messages that identify the problem in text rather than by color alone
  • Layouts that hold at 200% zoom without loss of content or function
  • Link text that makes sense out of context

4. About the accessibility widget on this site

This site includes an accessibility widget that lets visitors adjust display settings such as contrast, text size, and spacing. Some people find those controls useful.

We want to be clear about what it is and is not. The widget supplements the accessibility built into the site. It does not create conformance, and it is not the basis of the conformance statement above. No automated tool or plug-in can make a website accessible on its own, and any vendor claiming otherwise is overselling. The accessibility of this site comes from how it was built and from the manual work behind it.

5. Known limitations

  • Embedded maps. Google Maps embeds are third-party content with inconsistent keyboard and screen reader behavior. Every location page also lists the full address and phone number as plain text, and we will give directions by phone at 806.412.1100.
  • Embedded video. Player controls are third-party. Captions are provided, and transcripts are available on request.
  • Older documents. PDFs published before the current site may not be fully tagged. Ask and we will provide the content in an accessible format.
  • Third-party widgets. Review and scheduling widgets are supplied by outside services and we do not control their markup. Anything they display is available from us directly by phone or email.

6. How we test

We evaluate this site with automated testing combined with manual review.

Automated tools catch roughly a third of accessibility issues. They are good at measurable things like color contrast ratios and missing attributes. They cannot judge whether alt text actually describes an image, whether a tab order makes sense, or whether an error message tells you what to do. Those require a person, so we check them by hand.

Manual testing is done with VoiceOver on Safari, and by navigating the site using only a keyboard.

We have not commissioned a third-party accessibility audit of this site.

7. Compatibility

Accessibility here relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA, and on how well your browser and any assistive technology you use support them.

This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and screen readers. We have not tested every possible combination, and it may not work as well with software that is several versions out of date. If a particular combination gives you trouble, tell us and we will look at it.

8. Feedback

If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site, tell us. We want to know, and we will fix what we can.

Email: hello@11marketing.com
Phone: 806.412.1100
Mail: 11 Marketing + Design, 600 S Tyler St, Suite 2100, Amarillo, TX 79101

We respond to accessibility feedback within 10 business days, and usually faster. If a fix will take longer than that, we will tell you what we are doing and when to expect it.

If you need anything on this site in a different format, ask and we will provide it.

9. Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a project that finishes. We review this site when we make significant changes to it, and at least once a year. We update this statement when the situation changes rather than when the calendar says to.

This statement describes the accessibility of 11marketing.com. It is not legal advice and does not constitute a certification of compliance by any body.
